Chantilly High School students recently got a front-row seat to the legal world as alumna and Fairfax County Attorney Raissa Wilbur returned to her alma mater to inspire and educate. In a captivating mock trial, Wilbur and her colleague Marin Greene brought the courtroom to the classroom, immersing 80 Business Law students in real-world legal scenarios and the complexities of the judicial system.

The immersive experience challenged students to think critically, analyze evidence, and develop persuasive arguments. The mock trial illuminated the intricacies of the legal system, highlighting that cases are rarely "black and white" but often require nuanced ethical considerations.

Raissa and Marin's engaging presentation sparked lively discussions about the legal profession and inspired many students to consider careers in law. For Raissa, returning to Chantilly High School was a full-circle moment. She reflected on her journey from a student walking these very halls to becoming a practicing attorney, sharing insights about her path and encouraging students to pursue their own aspirations.
