We support all military-connected students by providing helpful resources as they join us at Chantilly. We work to create a safe space for students to thrive, inspiring others to become active participants in the Chantilly High School community, and celebrating our unique culture and experiences together. Fairfax County Public Schools is proud to have over 14,000 military-connected youth as a part of our student body. The FCPS Office of Special Education Instruction supports the development, implementation, operation, and evaluation of our pre-k-12 educational programs, curricula, and services that meet the needs of students with disabilities.

Behavioral Health Services for Military Families can be accessed through Tricare or your Primary Care Provider.

Military One Source is your central hub and go-to-place for the military community. Non-medical counseling is also available.
Operation Purple Camp serves military families in different phases of military life.
The Military and Family Life Counseling Program supports service members, their families, and survivors with non-medical counseling. To find an MFLC, you may contact your installation's family support center, your zoned school, or call Military One Source at 1-800-342-9647.
FCPS school counselors, psychologists, and social workers are also available to address academic, mental health, and behavioral needs of our students. Call your zoned school to contact your counselor, psychologist, or social worker.
The Bloom Organization was created by military-connected teens to empower other military teens with everything military-life related.
Educational Supports for Military Connected Students
Tutor.com provides tutoring and homework help at no cost to active-duty service members and their eligible dependents.

The Army Educational Outreach Program provides both students and teachers a collaborative, cohesive, portfolio of Army-sponsored STEM programs that effectively engage, inspire, and attract the next generation of STEM talent through K through college programs and expose them to DoD STEM careers.
The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) supports military-connected children by educating and advocating to resolve the education challenges associated with the military lifestyle.
The Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission (MIC3) addresses key issues such as eligibility, enrollment, placement, and graduation. The Compact provides a consistent policy to address these transition issues faced by our military-connected families.
Family Liaisons work in the schools and community to help families get the information and assistance they need to support their children and ensure their academic success. They orient families who are new to the school and community and help them understand the school's culture, policies, procedures, and practices. They can also help connect families to resources in the community. Please contact your zoned school to connect with your Family Liaison.
College Success Programs prepare students for the academic rigor of college coursework, help students with the college application process, and provide enrichment experiences to build the resilience that is so often needed to successfully graduate.
Young Scholars is designed to identify and nurture students with high academic potential who may face additional barriers to access and success in Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) and courses. This may include students who are the first in their family to attend college in the U.S., English language learners, students who are economically disadvantaged, and students who are twice exceptional.
