Partnership for Safe Teen Driving (PSTD)

  • This is a state mandated 90 minute program that all juvenile drivers MUST ATTEND with a parent/guardian
  • Bring Parent and a Pen to any of the dates at Chantilly High School
  • Students cannot receive the Driver’s Education Classroom Course Certificate of Completion (DEC-8 Card) without attend this presentation.

To attend at Chantilly High School as a current – this school year - Driver’s Education student

  • Come to a date scheduled this school year – preferably the quarter you are in the classroom, but you are welcome to come to any of the dates that are convenient to you
  • Do not register  - This is free to you as a current – this school year – Driver’s Education student
  • The Driver’s Education Teacher will collect and process your attendance at the session

To attend at Chantilly as an online PE student

  • Register at Fairfax County Adult and Community Education site for Partnership for Safe Teen Driving – Chantilly High School – for any of the dates listed
  • Pay the $30 registration fee
  • If you are registered and paid before attending the presentation,  you will receive a Certificate of Completion to send to VADETS to receive your DEC-District 8 (Pink) Card

To attend at Chantilly as a “Former” Chantilly Driver’s Ed student – (currently not a sophomore AND not in class)

  • Register at Fairfax County Adult and Community Education site for Partnership for Safe Teen Driving – Chantilly High School – for any of the dates listed
  • Pay the $30 registration fee
  • If you are registered and paid before attending the presentation,  you will receive a Certificate of Completion to bring to your former Driver’s Education Teacher to receive your DEC-District 8 (Pink) Card

To attend at Chantilly High School but are not a Chantilly High School Student – (other FCPS Schools, Home School Students)

  • Current Sophomores in a FCPS High School Classroom Driver’s Ed course
    • Come to any of the dates and bring a parent and a pen
  • Current or Former FCPS students or home school students
    • Register at Fairfax County Adult and Community Education site for Partnership for Safe Teen Driving – Chantilly High School – for any of the dates listed
    • Pay the $30 registration fee
    • If you are registered and paid before attending the presentation,  you will receive a Certificate of Completion to bring to your former Driver’s Education Teacher to receive your DEC-District 8 (Pink) Card
