• Visual Arts students learn to COMMUNICATE through the use of theme, creative process, by learning safe and ethical practices and through the presentation of their work. 
• They CREATE art forms by learning fundamentals and use various methods of representation through a variety of art media techniques and processes to include drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, photography.    
• Students RESPOND to art through aesthetics and critiques.
• They CONNECT by learning about art history and cultural context and through Interdisciplinary connections.
