Every year Virginia DECA holds  the State Leadership Conference (SLC). Students who attend this conference have won their respective event at the District Leadership Conference or have completed written events that begin at the state level.  Over 4,000 students and advisors from the state of Virginia attend the conference and have an opportunity to advance to the International Career Development Conference (ICDC).   

SLC is held in the Virginia Beach Convention Center, a few blocks inland off the coast.  SLC took place on March 1^st – March 3^rd , 2019. Going to SLC is an honor in itself, and is one of the events that DECA members look forward to every year.  25 students from the Chantilly DECA Chapter have qualified to move on to ICDC  April 26^th – May 1^st, 2019 in Orlando, Florida.
