The Purple Tide is the official student-produced medium of news and information published and produced by students in journalism classes.  Articles appear in the monthly print issue and online at chantillynews.org. The Purple Tide has received numerous state and national awards, including the 2016 VHSL Savedge Award for Sustained Excellence in Scholastic Journalism.
